Teachers are invited to join us for a free day of fun, exploration, and learning about our newest programs. Admission to Exhibit Halls, Omni shows, the Planetarium, and other ticketed venues are complimentary for teachers and up to three guests. Parking is also free. Some restrictions apply.

Microsoft is offering Young Innovators scholarships to support students interested in taking summer science programs at the Museum. Scholarship aid is available for 75 - 90% of tuition.

Programs for High School Teachers

Engineering the Future® Three-Day Institutes, July 22 – 24, July 29 – 31, or August 11 – 13 at the Museum of Science. This concentrated, hands-on workshop is ideal for those teaching Engineering the Future for the first time, or for teachers who want to gain a deeper understanding of engineering and physics applications in the classroom.

Programs for Elementary Teachers and Teacher Educators

Free workshops for grade 2 – 5 teachers, June 23 or 24. Learn how engineering knowledge impacts students' understanding of science.

Teacher Educator Institute, June 30 – July 2.  This intensive workshop introduces educators to the EiE program and its materials. Participants learn more about pedagogical strategies for running professional development programs that feature EiE for elementary teachers.
